By specializing in any of the SAP module a candidate can enhance their career in our organization. There are many modules in the course. But having a certification not guarantees the job or success because skills and experience plays a key role along with experience. For example “a photographer is not selected based on his certifications and selected based on his portfolio”.

Below is the list of some SAP Modules :
Technical Grade SAP Modules :

  • ABAP (Mainly programming using ABAP. Having programming knowledge is good.)
  • ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming, originally Allgemeiner Berichts-Aufbereitungs-Prozessor, German for "general report creation processor") is a high-level programming language created by the German software company SAP SE.

  • BASIS
  • A relational database management system (RDBMS): Basis overlaps with many aspects of traditional database administration. A graphical user interface (GUI) : The GUI is the interface through which the Basis administrator interacts with SAP systems. A development environment: This is where Basis development takes place.


Functional Grade SAP Modules :

  • SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • SAP Sales and Distribution module is a part of SAP Logistics module that manages customer relationship starting from raising a quotation to sales order and billing of the product or service. This module is closely integrated with other modules like SAP Material Management and PP.

  • HRM (Human Resources Management)
  • Human Resource Management (HRM) is the term used to describe formal systems devised for the management of people within an organization. The responsibilities of a human resource manager fall into three major areas: staffing, employee compensation and benefits, and defining/designing work.

  • FICO (Finance &Controlling)
  • SAP FICO Stands for FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling). SAP FICO is the important module of ERP and both FI and CO modules stores the financial transactions data.

  • PP (Production &Planning)
  • In any live Production Planning module, locations of manufacturing plants and storage within the plants, should be available in the system. All Production master data is created at Plant level. ... Production Confirmation process and related goods movement occur at plant and storage location level. Master Data in SAP PP.

  • MM (Material Management)
  • SAP MM role in business process is as follows: A business process in SAP is termed as “Module”. SAP Materials Management (MM) is a part of Logistics area and helps to manage the procurement activity of an organization from procurement. It supports all aspects of material management (planning, control etc).

  • CRM (Customer Relation Management)
  • It is a part of SAP Business Suite to manage customer relationship. It supports all customer-focused business areas such as marketing, sales and service. It is implemented for different customer interaction channels, such as Interaction Centre, Internet, and mobile clients (hand-held devices like laptop, mobile, etc.).

  • SCM (Supply Chain Management)
  • SAP Supply Chain Management is a complete solution that covers supply chain networking, supply chain planning, supply chain coordination, and SCE (Supply Chain Execution). It includes a collection of planning applications related to Advanced Planning, Optimization, Scheduling and Integration with other SAP execution applications.

    The primary applications are separeted as SAP General Areas, SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC), SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SCM Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), SAP EDS and EIS, SCM Forecasting and Replenishment (FRE) and SAP Transportation Management (TM).
